He is currently President & CEO of Leadership At Its Best, LLC a
Columbus, Ohio based company that provides Leadership and Development Training, Diversity Strategy Planning to Corporations and Business, Leadership and Development Training for College and University students, students in Public School Districts and Leadership and Development Training and strategic planning for Non-Profit organizations. He is an outstanding motivational speaker and is committed to the development of young people.

He has a strong professional career having worked for some of the leading companies in their industry, such as: The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, (Mgr. EEO/Diversity), Ryder Systems, Inc.(Dir. Employee Relations), Blockbuster, Inc(VP Human Resources - HR), THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine (SR. VP Sales) , Value City Department Stores( EVP HR), Viacom, Inc/Viacom Retail Stores ( VP HR)

He is a member of many national, state and local organizations such as Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where he has served on the National Executive Board as National Director of Education from 1978-1981; 27th National President of the Fraternity, Inc. (1989-1993) and the first member to be reelected as the 29th National President (1995-1997); 28th National
President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (1993-1995) and former Chairman of the Phi Beta Sigma Educational Foundation.
In addition, he has served as three-term City Councilman for Akron, Ohio, on the Board of Directors for Akron Branch NAACP (life member); National alliance of Business Youth Motivation Task Force, Urban League, US
Jaycees and as Chairman of the Alabama A&M University Foundation.
He is currently member of the Society of Human Resources Management; National Cancer Society as a Volunteer; Life Member Alabama A &M University Alumni Association; National Association of African Americans in Human Resources - National Board of Directors 2003-05, Ohio African-American Hall of Fame Commission and a member of The New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
 
He has received numerous awards from his fraternity, and service awards from: National Foundation March of Dimes, National Alliance of Business, Frontiers Clubs, United Negro College Fund; listed in Outstanding Young Men of America; Who’s Who in the Midwest; and Who Who’s in Black Corporate America. He has been listed in the May 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997 issues of Ebony Magazine as one of the 100 most influential Blacks in America. He was inducted in the first Alabama A & M University Hall of Fame in 1990 for outstanding community service and received the Dollars & Sense Magazine’s “Brightest and Best Young Men Award.”
